The Living's Easy

Here's just a little glimpse into a day in the life of L & M. Who knew the swimming pool could be such a multifaceted activity? L & M demonstrate just a few of its uses:

We like to 'bake' birthday cakes by pouring water into these buckets. The girls sometimes switch off whose birthday it is, but it's usually Minnie's.

As you can see, we have a monopoly over the shallow end.

Then we jump out from behind something and yell, "Surprise!"

I love how they line up the birthday party guests. Every day they count all the guests; including themselves, both Minnies and me there are eleven.

We like to give Minnie swimming lessons...

As you can see, she has successfully mastered the back float.

London has learned how to maneuver her way around the entire deep end without help, just her little fish and her legs as a propeller. (She has interrupted many a volleyball game this way.)

Check out our killer tan lines!

ahhh the life by the pool. Way to go London for getting herself around the pool. I wish that I could say something like that for Gwen, but not even close.

And those tan lines look quite familiar. I wish that I looked as good as the girls do in their suits.

What could be better than making cakes in the pool, for a great party, everyday!! I love it.

I wish my kids would play like that in pool. They will swim but they want me to entertain them. I would suggest a birthday party but there is always a party crasher named Max.

That is so cute! I wish I could be at their birthday party each day. Thanks for sharing the party pictures. It makes it easier to be so far away.

Kids are so creative and carefree. How did we forget how to do that?
