A Violin Studio is Born

the teacher

the lovely student #1

Up like this...

Good posture!

Who's next? The lovely lady in green.

Keep the bow straight for a nice sound...

'Bravo!' says our captive audience.

Not bad for a second lesson! I couldn't be more excited to start teaching.

p.s. This is also an announcement I am now accepting students, as currently 2/3 of mine are my own children! :)

Umm I would tell you to sign Gwen up too, but you know that she wouldn't probably hold still to play something, or anything for that matter. I love that London looks like she is a professional in that photo. I think that you are going to have some very talented girls on your hands.

And hooray for the studio! Maybe we should get together and celebrate!!

Your girls look so natural holding their violin, and look how tiny that is! Is it 1/4? I've tried getting Isaac to sit at the piano and do more than just maul the keys, but he'd rather play the "daddy notes" down at the bottom of the keyboard, very loud and very hard. I think he's not quite mature enough yet. :) Good luck with your studio, I hope you get lots of lucky students!

I'm so excited you're teaching the girls already. I just love those tiny violins! Good for you, I've tried teaching Brock piano, and it's hard to be consistent. Miss you!

I wish I could take violin from you! I think we'll have Millie learn b/c Josh's mom has like 17 violins (including all the little mini ones)

I am sooooo excited for you to start teaching Rylee. It's the best birthday present a princess could ask for! Can't wait!
