My Computer Geek

I thought I'd showcase some of the talents of another member of the Barlow family, as lately it seems I have spotlighted the twins a whole bunch (no complaints though). Mr. Ryan Barlow is as equally talented and slightly more obsessive than his twin daughters and has always impressed me with his killer taste. The first couple of pictures Ryan did in response to a photoshop contest, the contest being who can come up with the best picture using one or more of the random pictures provided. It never ceases to amaze me what creative madness comes from late nights...and Spongebob.

Exhibit A
american gothic 2.0

A tribute to Grant Wood's famous depiction of a traditional american scene. Designed to demonstrate the degrading materialistic society in which we live today.

Exhibit B
metropolis

I wanted something that wasn't robotic and had a very retro feel to it like the camera. Everything is from the stock photos except for our caped crusader and the falling man.
This one you can vote for, if you so desire, here.

Exhibit C
My violin studio is born! The only thing left to do is tweak the wording a little bit, as all the info. is fake, but I was so excited I had to get it posted. We have been working on it since June! (Ryan told me I am his hardest web design client to date.) Check me out at utahviolinstudio.com

Leslie, this is awesome. Your husband does beautiful work.
but of course what I am most impressed with is your website, and that you are getting it going. I have been a slacker, mainly I use the excuse that we are moving and I can't get started until we get settled. But you inspire me, maybe sometime next year you will see something from me.

I loved the Metropolis picture! Ryan is so, very creative. Your web site is very professional and classy looking. I am sure you will end up with more students than you can schedule!
Love,
Syl

It is no wonder why your children have such great creative genes. The two of you together make quite a great creative genius team. That is really nice of you to promote Ryan's stuff on the blog. You are a great wife.
