Family Barber

Who's first?

I thought I could handle giving the twins a trim. I already cut Ryan's hair, which is a tricky job. And how hard could it be to throw on a towel and cut in a straight line? (Famous last words.)

Maddie started off okay....

Then got a little antsy...

And finally felt uncomfortable about the whole situation.

Londie just wanted to do it herself...and then bolted, Maddie-style. I was not in love with the idea of chasing my girls around the house with scissors to try to even things out. I tell you one thing that is one way to do layers. So if you happen to come across any uneven chunks in your encounter with the girls and you happen to have a pair of scissors handy...be my guest.

When you get some more practice at catching L & M for hair cuts you'll be ready for monkey haircuts!
The monkeys would probably hold still longer!

You are one brave mama! I am not allowed to come close to James with scissors. he even went so far the last time to go get it cut by a pro!! So do you cut your own as well?

Hehehe! Garrett used to be the kid styliest but he couldnt' take the moving target. I on the other hand always have candy to stuff their mouths with a toy in their hands and then a beeeeeaaauutiful layered haircut in the end. Yep even after all that I'm afraid layered it what it ends up as, thats o.k. I tell myself I like it better that way.

I'm keeping scissors in my back pocket at all times just in case I happen to see the girls! Don't worry, we'll straighten out their hair!

I cut Isaac's hair too, and it's just a quick buzz. (Hence, the very simple style!) I have a total of about 45 seconds from start to finish, and that's with lots of distractions! I can only imagine cutting girls' hair though, good for you for trying!!! :)
