Toddler Einsteins
Apparently there have been recent studies published that Baby Einstein is not the baby genius maker it proclaims to be. Gasp. You mean television is not a replacement for brain stimulation and parental interaction? Shocking, I know. Our first clue must have been the glazed over look our kids get in their eyes while watching it. Though this state of borderline comatose comes in handy when you are desperate, say every Sunday morning, we prefer to think our kids came out with their genius all by themselves.

Cranking out the masterpieces. We think Ryan's art genes are showing up in Londie. Check out her latest work.

She has been working on this one for days. Ryan likes the way the colors are perfectly balanced. I just like the squiggles.

As you can see, artwork of this magnitude takes a lot of concentration, not to mention some serious ambidextrous skills. And it comes in handy to have a sister in case you need to switch colors. I think I'll leave them alone with their creative juices for awhile.

I too love the squiggles. But the best part is that they are each half way under a chair, do you put them there to keep them contained? I actually think that they need to be in an odd place to let the creativity flow.I also like that they don't have shirts on, that is a favor for you so that they don't get crayon on their clothes. Who needs baby einstein anyway?
I can't believe they held still in one place long enough to color! I love the art! It looks like a Picasso! Congratulations on your genius girls!
Love,

And I thought all those hours I spent this year watching Baby Einstein would actually help me... Now I'm stuck trying to think of another tv show that's going to help make me more smarter. Ryan's art genes really are showing up in London. I remember Ryan drawing a picture almost exactly like that just a few months ago! Amazing. Have fun with the young Raphael's!
