L & M's First Haircut

Well, bang trim is more of a better term, but first time under the scissors. I bribed Maddie with her favorite treat: fruit dip without the fruit. She goes nuts for this stuff! Looking back, that was not the brightest idea when you are cutting hair. The end product was, well, sticky little pieces of hair everywhere. But hey, it could have been worse.



I used a bang-trimming technique I read about in a magazine. I can't say it was entirely successful, but it at least prevented scissor-related eye injuries.



And done! Maddie told me she wanted the side-swooped bangs. I did my best.


Londie's 'before' shot. Apparently, she's having a hard time seeing with all that hair in her eyes.


You have got to be kidding, mom. I can't let my friends see me like this!


Now that's more like it..
After this whole ordeal, mom has decided we are growing out our bangs for a little while. Also, in case anyone is wondering, fruit dip makes a pretty good mousse!
