Maddie the Mother Hen

So every time I drop the girls off at nursery, I have a funny observation: all the little girls are feeding the baby dolls with bottles! London and Madelyn must have been watching very closely, because last time we went to my mom's house, here is what we found little Madelyn up to.

Make sure her eye doesn't get thirsty...

And then we had to laugh because Maddie rolled OVER her baby to put herself to bed, too.

But didn't think it would be this boring.

Maybe the babies like it better in the cradle.

Maddie decides to see for herself what it's like in the cradle.

Hard to do while it's rocking...

And in! What was the funniest was how serious she was the whole time.

Night night, Maddie! She actually stayed here for about 15 minutes being rocked! London even helped.

This is so cute. I had no idea that the mothering instinct could start so early,
it took me 23 years to start. I like that Maddie tried to put herself to bed like the doll but decided that it was not all that it was cracked up to be. I think that these photos are so darling.

Hilarious photos! My favorite is the one where Maddie squished herself into the cradle. I've noticed that in the teeniest tiniest way, Simone resembles the twins. It must be the Honey in them! Simone does the exact same serious look. How fun! -Jillian

Too bad you don't have a picture of Maddie with the ugly demented doll... or maybe it's a good thing because people my be scared away from your blog by it. Keep us posted on the mother hen!

PS did you notice how Zoe is not in any of those pictures? How'd that happen?
