The Vomit Resurrection

This is my first blog I have ever posted, which may cause one to wonder, what occurrence would cause Ryan to actually sit down and write some form a journal entry. Not New Years, but my (supposedly crappy) cell phone my work issued me. So let the story begin.

This weekend, our house was flooded with vomit. Good ol' fashion mixture of milk, oatmeal, juice, carrots, and stomach acid. First started with Maddy and ended with London. Well, Leslie and I, caught off guard by the amounts of throw up produced by such tiny bodies, rushed them (they actually didn't throw up the same time, Maddy did 7 times on Friday and London did 6 times on Sunday, I'm sure you wanted the numbers) to the bathtub. This is turn caused vomit to be on our clothes (ruined my favorite tie), and every inch of floor space we have. In our deep cleaning of the house, Leslie was in charge of washing the clothes. In doing so, she checked my pockets, but forgot that I have two cells phones, she got my regular cell phone, but forgot about my work one. So it went right into the washer with my pants. When I changed the wash, I didn't even see the cell phone and it went right into the dryer. It went through a whole cycle in the washer and the dryer. Once discovered, we said our good-byes. It was toast. I tried seeing what would happen if I put it in the charger...nothing. I decided to hold onto it so London and Madelyn can add it to their collection of Cell Phones. But then, a miracle happened. Three days later (o.k. it was only two, but three gives the story that extra spice), it came back alive. I don't know how, or even thought it possible, but it's alive and working. Here is the picture to prove it. That's my story. I'm done.

Leslie insert: Everyone else in this house tries to be a super hero. Why not the cell phone?

Wow! What a vomit fest you all had there! I am SO glad I missed it! That is an incredible cell phone! It should be in the cell phone hall of fame!

That really is quite amazing. And great job on your first post. You know I have actually heard that if you spill something on your keyboard...they were talking about mac's so I am not sure for PC's, but you can basically do the same thing. Put them outside in the sun, assuming you live in a sunny area, or place them in the dryer on the shoe rack. Honestly I didn't know that our electronics were so druable or so handy. Thanks for the tip, oh and I am sorry about the throwing up, that is nasty.
