This Week's Randomness
Baby Liv turned four months old and learned how to prop up on her elbows. Four months going on forty-five months, any idea who she could be trying to keep up with?
That's right, Liv has got a front-row seat for all the shenanigans her older sisters are up to, like dumping out all the play food in the name of a tea party. L & M could not have a more captive audience. If they so much as look Liv's way she breaks into a giggle.
We heard a crunching noise and discovered Liv had scooted herself all the way to the twins' 2nd breakfast and was crunching it around with her toes. (Maddie: "I don't want it back now!")
London ends up with this haircut...but we won't get into that.
Cousin Gwen turns three!!
And celebrates with a pirate party. What's a party without a treasure hunt, pirate cupcakes, decorating eye-patches, a gazillion balloons, a pirate pinata, not to mention helping the other kids grind playdough into the carpet. Needless to say, L & M had a blast! After quite an exhausting afternoon of celebration, I thought for sure they would come home and take a nap...
Think again mom, we want to try out our pirate whistles!
(We had EVERY dog within a 5-mile radius barking!)
Oh London, an upside down skull on your eye patch, that is pretty hard core.
The girls ran around outside for at least three hours with their treasure maps. They even had me hide their gold coins so they could use their maps to find buried treasure. Oh Gwen you hit the jackpot with that party.
And I'll leave you with this--eaten cupcakes.
The girls and I spent all morning making baby cupcakes and when I woke up from a nap, come to find out L & M hadn't taken one, but instead made their way to the kitchen to eat the tops off the cupcakes. The funny thing was I didn't even care, I was just so happy they let me sleep!

I can't believe how grownup Liv is getting! I loved peaking into your living room and seeing the girls all playing together! I'd trade sleep for cupcakes any day!
HA HA HA! Every dog barking around! I didn't even know they made pirate whistles! How fun to have such a cute cousin around who has awesome birthday parties. I still want to meet my neice Liv in person. It's almost painful to see these darling pictures and not have met her! soon right? soon. London's hair cut is perfect--I was picturing a "jocelyn-age-two" hair cut! I love seeing a glimpse of your life, keep up the fun posts!
That is how we eat cupcakes around here too! I love that the girls made you hide the candy coins, that is really funny, you know I keep thinking that the twins knowledge and expertise of princess' will wear off on Gwen and then she can be like all the other girls her age, but it looks like we may have just spread the love of pirates to your home as well.
Maybe next year we will come up with something that doesn't involve whistles.
I love that baby Liv is on the move, and crunching cereal with her toes, now that is a skill she can use in the real world for sure. Has it been four months really? Well you know that if you are not caring that all the frosting was eaten off the cupcakes, you were really needing a nap, and you could have just brought the kids over here for awhile. If it were me sleeping with the kids running around I am sure that it wouldn't have been good sleep, or I probably would have been dreaming of them trashing the house.
Anytime you need a few more kids in your life let me know and we can get together while they run wild.
Liv is SO adorable! I love that she loves watching L&M so much! haha! L&M are so cute. They are adorable little pirates! I love their dresses and London's hair looks GREAT Les! Stop fretting my friend! Wish I could have been there to help devour the tops of the cupcakes... haha. Love you all!!!
