Weekend O' Surprise
This weekend was full of a lot of surprises, mostly good. And here they are in sequential order.
Old Navy, anyone?

Remember how our master toilet has not worked since we moved in? Well the maintenance guys kept coming to "fix" it, and by fix they only meant unclog. Finally after my third complaint in three weeks two maintenance guys showed up to take the entire toilet apart and retrieve, an old navy gift card. Needless to say, the toilet now flushes like a charm!
Catching on?

Speaking of toilets, for the first time ever this week, London has been telling us she needs go potty--and then sits on the toilet and goes! Funny, nobody is happier when Londie goes potty than miss Madelyn . She runs around the house yelling "Nani went potty! Hooray!" helps her flush the toilet, and then choose out a treat. She's not even sad she doesn't get a treat for herself. Now there is a supportive sister.
The Projects

We never know what Ryan and his brother James will be up to. So when they spent a good portion of Saturday afternoon building these (curved camera track, anyone?), nobody really batted an eyelash around here.
And the very last surprise happened yesterday when the twins went to nursery by themselves! Ryan stayed a little while with them so I could catch relief society for the first time since we've been out here, but then was able to leave without a meltdown. I asked the girls how it went afterward and Maddie said, "Went to nursery, no scary just fun!"

Wow!! Sounds like the girls are doing better than ever!! They seem to like Texas and Texas seems to agree with them!
Oh- and I love Old Navy too! Especially the $1 steals--I hardly ever end up wearing anything I buy for 5 dollars or under there, yet it's just so satisfying to buy for some reason!
So glad Sunday nursery went well! That is a giant step forward! and a flushing toilet...how could life get any better! Pretty soon your girls will be using the famous, flushing toilet!
Hey was there anything left on that card? That would be a really fun surprise. And great work on having the potty training success, Hooray!
I am really glad your toilet works now. We all know that is more important than even a bed!
that is the cutest picture of Lond!! oh my gosh i love it. i'm glad things are working out so well. texas sounds so wonderful.
Can you use that gift card? That is so funny! You should do a "favorite smells" post. It was so fun to do.
I will always think of Maddie as having the biggest "heart of gold" she is so proud of London, I love it! Nothing is sweeter!
How cute! The girls are so great! I loved it when Bryant started going to nursery by himself. I felt so free! Gratz!
While we were living with my parents, their bathroom sink was always clogged, so Jarom took the pipes apart only to discover a small glass bottle, an old CTR ring, and a plastic army guy. ?!?!? Needless to say, the sink worked much better afterwards. :)
