Madelyn's BFF
....And we all thought it was LONDON! These days, Maddie has abandoned her bully of a big sister in favor of someone she can bully herself. He is fuzzy and red and his name is Elmo. Elmo is a great playmate for Madelyn because he doesn't body check her and/or pull out hair and scratch. Qualities of a friend for life, I would say. Plus, he goes anywhere she wants to. Yep, I would say these two are attached at the hip. Meals are no exception.

Show us your new friend! As you can see, Elmo is a picture of safety, sporting a helmet and elbow pads for his roller blades.

I busted up laughing when Maddie started feeding him her peanut butter and jelly sandwich! Then I realized she was actually using Elmo as a fork, eating the sandwich off his face. Hey, I would say anyone who is willing to be a makeshift kitchen utensil makes a pretty good friend. I think we'll let him stay.

I haven't tried eating my sandwich with Elmo! I must be missing something. She is so cute with Elmo. Thanks for such cute pictures.

Listen I think that everyone should have a great friend like that. One who is there through the good times and the bad, in meal times and in your pocket. What a trooper, and it is a good thing that he doesn't like pbj's. I too would give that a vote for a pretty great friend.
Do you know where I could find myself a friend like that? I think Maddie is on to something here. You should market this idea! If I got myself an Elmo, Maddie and I could bond even more. You know, we already bond since we both have the dreadful trial of being the youngest, but this could only strengthen our friendship. Unfortunately, the best friend position is already filled. I'm going for the "nearly best friend" position. But, if I'm competing agaisnt London, I'm not so hopeful that I'll win.
