Called to Serve

Sunday we attended the mission farewell of my favorite (and only) brother, A.J. Davis. He has been called to serve in the Bulgaria Sofia mission. For those of you wondering, Bulgaria is NOT in South America, it is in Eastern Europe. Here is a little visual for those of us who have forgotten. Elder Davis leaves August 9th.

Here A.J. helps Maddie do her favorite thing: touch Zoe! This picture is soon to be framed in my kitchen and contributes to the lump in my throat that may stay a good while past August 9th. What a wonderful day (sniff, sniff)!
